VIDEO: Patriotic tears when Alan Jackson sings ‘America the Beautiful’

Patriotic tears when Alan Jackson sings ‘America the Beautiful’. Alan Jackson is one of country music’s biggest stars. He lends his incredible voice to the timeless classic, ‘America the Beautiful,’ in a wonderful patriotic salute to our country.

The song starts quietly with only guitar and piano accompaniment. Alan wears his signature cowboy hat and red collared shirt with jeans and boots. The initial types of the first verse are given with respect.

One fiddle, three guitarists and two pianos take part in the performance. The stage has flashing red and blue lights with American flags hanging in the background. Alan sits on a bench and sings deeply.

When he sings the lines “Your alabaster cities shine”, a city is seen, then a village with a lake. It further shows pictures of sky, rivers, waterfalls and all kinds of nature.

When Alan sings the last words of “And crown thy good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea,” he puts his hand over his heart and closes his eyes.

“America the Beautiful” was written by Kathryn Lee Bates and was originally planned as a song called “Pikes Peak”. It was published on July 4, 1895 in the church magazine. Samuel A. Ward composed the music for the song, and the first performance of the entire song appeared in 1910. Bates and Ward never even met.

While Alan Jackson is known for his hits including “Chattahoochie” and “Remember When,” his soulful rendition of the song honoring America is one of his best ever. Alan’s voice has never sounded so perfect on a song and the band come together to make this an unforgettable version.
